I’m having problems activating my Windows 7 . It says invalid product key but i don’t understand why since I purchased the original version . How can i fix this?

Hey ,
There are several reasons why you’re getting this error . The most common one would be that your key is either a fake or it doesn’t match the version of Windows 7 that’s installed on your computer. Check the place you purchased it from and make sure it’s a good one or make sure it’s for the version that you are trying to activate. For example if you have a Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 you won’t be able to activate it with a product key for a version of Windows 7 without SP1.
The same rulls apply for upgraded versions.
Also if you formatted the drive before you started the installation process, your key won’t work, therefore you’ll have to install your previous version of Windows, and then reinstall Windows 7.
